They will cover the general principles of forum shopping, frame the tax and legal considerations to determine when forum shopping may be appropriate for clients to consider, share some typical case studies, and identify key take-aways and implementation principles.\n \n \n \nPresented By:\n \nAlex Paul\n Founder and CEO of Wealthgate Trust Company, an independent Nevada licensed trust company, Alex is Of Counsel for Harrison and Held, and licensed in Nevada (corporate counsel) and Colorado. He earned his JD from Northwestern and BA, magna cum laude, from Lawrence University.\n \nPrior to his T&E practice, Alex clerked for a justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and was in private corporate law and litigation practice. He served as corporate counsel for his family’s public educational software company, Renaissance Learning. He formed and ran a private trust company for his family before converting it to Wealthgate Trust Company, a retail trust company providing true fiduciary services for families with generational capital.\n \nAaron Hegji\n Aaron is Chief Fiduciary Officer and Wealth Strategist for Wealthgate Trust Company. He is licensed in Nevada and California and earned his JD from UNLV and a BS, summa cum laude, from Portland State University.\n \nAaron practiced trust planning and tax planning for HNW and UHNW clients for over a decade before joining Wealthgate.
