Wesley Mashburn, Senior Manager, Gift Planning Services, is a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving and is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, the Nonprofit and Estate Planning sections of the Utah State Bar, and the Utah Valley and Salt Lake estate planning councils. He currently serves as a board member of the Utah Planned Giving Roundtable. Wes also sits on the governing council of LDS Philanthropies. Wes has also served on Brigham Young University’s Athletic Advisory Council. Wes has been a guest lecturer at Brigham Young University in prelaw and nonprofit management courses and taught community college law courses. Before joining LDS Philanthropies in 2001, Wes was an associate attorney at the law firm of Ballard, Spahr, Andrews, and Ingersoll in Salt Lake City. Wes has also served as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and for the Nevada Supreme Court. Wes graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1992 and received his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from the Brigham Young University J.
